Sounds cool, how about checking it out under the near full moon, or take a daylight photo to post. You could be onto something big if it's an abandoned METNAL hospital they are the best kind

I would check it out, but am too far away and stuck on a large rock surrounded by very cold salty tasting water.

Good luck...

For a major treet google Danvers Hospital, or Session 9

Put some water in it and fire it up!

Actually, that tub was featured in a scene in the movie Intern academy, in which Dan Akroyd is bathing in that very same tub.

It's a good movie but unfortunately very few scenes actually show you details of the hospital. It mostly focusses on the people.

I watched the movie last night in participation of my visiting it tommorow.

The movie is good to watch after you have done the camsell as you can see many things you see as an explorer. It is such a mind blow how much the place has changed tho.

First time I was there there was functioning equipment in the surgical bays, now it is dark and smashed.

Security, bah, we did it and actually used the fact workerrs were the to get easier access. They left a door open so we snuck in while they were not looking.

It was easy for us but several other less experienced groups have tried lately with no luck. They have either lost nerve or got chased out by workers.

The key for us was going at the right time of day and being fearless yet smart about it. We weighed the risks, assesed what we had to do and just outright did it. It did require a small bit of luck to keep locals from calling the cops on us as we were in plain sight mid-day as we climbed the fence and walked across the property.

The workers also came around in a bob-cat just moments behind us down the same driveway.

But getting busted is not something I am that afraid of, I have been caught enough times to know how to deal with it and I have yet to get a trespass ticket. If I did it would quickly become my new T-shirt for UE pub nights.

Anymouse still has his from the time he got busted with AV at Union. He cherishes it and is getting it framed and mounted one of these days.

I stongly believe the only way to get busted is to be stupid or unlucky. There is not much one can do about unlucky so one might as well go for it.

Yeah agreed Skaught. So are they tearing that place down? Why are workers hanging around an abandoned building?

I dunno about sweet time. They have gutted about 1/3 of the building and are going at it pretty strong. We did it on a Saturday and crews were working then.

There was some strange patterns to the demo tho. The made a huge effort to get access to the inside of this one main duct on the 7th floor for example.
