| | | Toronto's hottest new penthouse location < on 2/23/2006 4:20 AM >
| | | This place was awesome, definitely the best site I've been in. 38 stories and directly in between the CN Tower and Air Canada Centre, a great view of the city. There was a security guard in a trailer, but the great thing about winter time is that they don't like going outside. I was only there 2 or 3 hours and the shutter in my camera started to act up and lock, so I went home, and the camera is off for service today. All 3 were taken with the Nikon 10.5mm fisheye, the first and third were "de-fished" in Nikon Capture, and the second was left fishy. These look a little over processed to my eye, but let me know what you think. oh, and I brought the tent, I didn't find it there.

| | | Let me see if I get this right, in winter conditions you climbed to the top of the building, set up a tent to play video games in, took some awesome pictures, then went home all in 2 to 3 hours. Odd... very odd.

| | | That's too bad I like it better this way, you don't have to scroll over each photo and wait for it to load (which seems to take more time to load one photo as opposed to say, 5). Ah, well...

| | | Brendan> How long were those exposures, and what did you do in photoshop if anything with them? how did you reduce noise? etc.

Brendan, those shots are breathtaking. I don't think they are over processed at all. By using the fisheye....and then, well, "un-using" it, you have already altered reality. This opens the door wide for possibilities. Mike, a good Noise Reducer to check out would by Noise Ninja. (I know this kind of comment belongs over on the photo threads, but just wanted to add my 2 cents worth) Cheers.
