|  | | | Well, I have lurked here for a while and finally decided to join up. I have always had a fascination with abandonments and especially ghosttowns.
I recently found this online. Its a local cable show a guy does around here in Bay City. The one show he did in particular though I though may interest some of you.
http://www.thedarkhaus.com/ If you go to the Time Traveller episode about the Alkali, episode 3, you will see one we have around here. I like how he does a history of the place.

There's an entry in the DB for Industrial Brownhoist, and it's also on my site. Certainly one of the more interesting things in the area, if you ask me. Might just have to get a hold of this Raymond guy.

I also remembered stories of the old catacombs of Bay City. They would be right about under Ray's store. They were known as "Hell's Half Mile" back in the lumber days. I am not sure if anyone has tried to get into them in recent years. I am definitely going to be paying Ray a visit about these soon.

Stop by his business, Phoenix Antiques on 3rd St. in downtown Bay City and I am sure he will show you.
