| | The last of the WSU tunnel videos... < on 2/13/2006 6:55 PM >
| | | After years of being a total slacker, constantly telling myself, "I'll cut and post this stuff someday..." I allocated a couple of days of my precious geek-time to re-digitize and post what little video exists of our visits to the WSU (Pullman, WA) utility tunnels. The video was shot only days short of nine years ago on our very last excursion into the tunnels, which was unfortunately the first one after I bought my 8mm video camera. Bummer. The years have not been kind to the video, which looks pretty grainy and washed out. Still, die-hard fans of college tunneling may enjoy it. http://silicon-arcana.com/molenet Video is about 20 minutes long and about 100Mb (!!) in size, so if all you have is a dial-up connection, you're probably out of luck. Sorry. The video was crappy enough without totally murdering it for download size. Also available on the site for the first time are a number of photos and a map of the WSU tunnel system, which is also a companion to the video. The "teaser trailer" video (much shorter and more dial-up friendly) that I did a couple of years ago is also still available. Enjoy. Regards, -MoleNet94

| | | Thanks for posting the video! I actually started forcing myself to video the places I'm visiting so I can start doing the same.

| | | It was all I could do as a college student to afford a low-end 8mm camera. Ironically, since getting a nicer digital video camera a few years ago, I haven't done any especially remarkable UE'ing. Go figure! Regards, MoleNet94

| | | I like how you did the voice overs, any special equipment you used to do the voice overs? Or, just plain jane stuff? [last edit 2/16/2006 5:57 AM by Ultramasturbatron - edited 1 times]

| | | Adobe Premiere. But I suspect most video editing software--perhaps all but the most basic stuff--should permit you to mix audio.
