| | | Does anyone know anything about an abandoned Ski Resort that was never finished atop Mt. Pilchuck? Here's an article that mentions this: Seattlest: The Lost Ski Resort of Mt. Pilchuck Cody.

| | | Unfortunately, Google Maps can't zoom in far enough on Mt. Pilchuck to discern details like this. However, I believe the Everett Mountaineers club may know the answer to your question. According to several sites I read, a lookout tower built in conjunction with the resort is still maintained by the Forest Service as well as the Everett Mountaineers. I looked on the EM website and found the guy responsible for the maintenance. I mailed him. If he gets back to me, I'll post his reply. -MoleNet94

| | | I hiked up there when I was younger. I remember a big open slope and my dad mentioning something about an old ski run. We stoped before we reached the lookout tower, But it was an awsome view. I don't remember seeing any sky lifts and stuff intact.

| | | Forrest of the Everett Mountaineers returned my email. Among other things, he writes:
Hi there, Very little left of the old ski resort, you'd really have to look to find anything left from it. You might try in the summer months, up on the old ski slopes above the parking lot up there. |
Too bad. Might still be worth a look, but it doesn't sound like there are any buildings left standing or anything quite that cool. -MoleNet94
