Found a great abandoned warehouse on the southwest side of Joliet, near Rockdale. Access was too easy...Lots of abandoned cars and trucks, still chock to the brim with goodies.
A fire gutted half of the building in the late 90s. By the looks of documents found, no one has been there since 2000.
The warehouse itself was a gold mine. So much junk! Didn't even get a chance to get around the whole property and we were there for about an hour.

If so, on the main drag just over the railroad tracks beyond the warehouse property there is a random staircase going down into the ground between the street and the train tracks.. I dont think its a ped-tunnel but I could be wrong. It looks kind of interesting.

Those stairs don't go anywhere except to a big pile of sludge...actually, a big, stinky pile of sludge. It definitely is a tunnel of sorts, but you'd have to wade through about 4 feet of shit to get to it.
