|  | | | I've been on Uer for about 3 months but I've been exploring much longer, see http://getfancy.net I put in a request for full member status and was denied in a rather rude manner (i'd post a copy but i'm not sure of the feelings on making pm's public). also a few of my posts were deleted, i thought it was a uer thing not to delete posts. anyway i beg the mods to reconsider their positions as I have done nothing wrong.

why should what happened on deggi have any merit here? and at least I'm honest about what i do and it's not like i'm grabbing shit to sell on ebay, I grab things to have keepsakes for when they destroy these places and there is nothing left. also anytime you're in New England i'd be happy to show you around, I even promise not to steal things.

This group is a pretty tight knit. Given the nature of what we do trust , respect and honesty are a large part of it for many. Within that list each means different things to different people and have a level of importance.
As I see it most everyone here follows the same code of ethics which does not include taking souvenirs from your explorations. I personally do not like the idea of taking things from sites, they don‘t belong to me. The things are there, they belong there and I feel they should be buried with the site should it meet it’s complete demise. Not to mention it goes from trespass to burglary when you have something in your possession taken from the site.
Trust is large. Given the consequences of our passion I like many are not willing to take a chance on loosing a location, getting arrested, or worse yet getting hurt by putting trust in someone too soon. I would not be offended if I got shot down here for full member that soon. I have not earned that trust yet. Full member would be great but I will continue to explore with out it and my life will go on.
In the honesty dept it appears that you have not tried to hide the real Spoon Fancy. Since earning the trust and respect of people also involves honesty which, from what I have seen you have not held back on the real you. You at least deserve kudos for that. Now you need to accept the fact that the real you may not get the trust and respect as easily as you would like because of the person you have chosen to be . Is that it is a bad thing? I don’t know if it is or not I don't know you.
Well I’ll jump down now. Since you put your personal dilemma out here for all to see I felt that you may be looking for some public feed back and attention to the matter so here is my opinion for what it is worth.
