|  | | | I was just wondering about posting a DB location. Should you post one even if you havent found a way in yet? There are so many abandonments in my town, Im positive a more experienced UE'r could find ways in or have more time to get in. As a mom of three its hard for me to find the time to get in much less spend any decent time taking pictures(not to mention my digital is acting goofy as of late). I was just wondering if its appropriate to list these places on the DB as I havent gotten inside them yet.
2 more major companies have just pulled out of this town. This place was ripe for exploration beforehand, but will become more and more so as the economy continues to go to hell. Im working on mapping out everything that is currently abandoned and have my eye on a few places that will be shortly.
I guess my question is, until I get in or someone else has, should I put them on the DB or just keep it to the regional boards?

| | | | I think you have to answer some of that for yourself. There are locations in the DB the creator has never even been to let alone got inside. A location can be "outside" as well with no building to get into. Its just a location.
eg: someone put a really great location in the DB but they just walked around shooting the outside. A year later I went out there and found a way in and added a gallery to the location. So its a contribution and group effort.
Id say add it if its interesting or you think others would enjoy reading about it and maybe somebody will find a way in that didnt even know the place existed.
