Abandoned Estate/Farm on US-15?

Haven't really posted here much or visited the site lately, but I just got back from a place I've noticed for the past 10 years or so out in what I think is Aldie, VA (zip 20105). I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about this place.

If you're heading south on 15 towards Warrenton, a little ways past Oatlands there's an old rusty gate with a heart with a sword thru it on each gate that's on your left. I've never seen beyond the gates and unfortunately probably won't ever get to because the land looks like it's being turned into houses. This place looks like it's been there for years and years and abandoned just as long.

Google Earth and local.live.com seem to show a few buildings way beyond the gates and it looks like a farm. I started at Tamworth Farms Lane on each resource and scrolled forward a little bit (basically towards the 15/50 intersection) from the lane to what I think is the entrance to this complex, for anyone that wants to take a peak.

Anyways, sorry if this is vague or doesn't make any sense or if I'm poking into something I shouldn't be. I've been intrigued by this place since I moved back to VA years ago but never had the chance to even begin to find a way to check it out. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, could you give me some info on this location? It looks like it's in the process of being turned into lovely field homes......

Poking into something that you shouldn't be is the art of urban exploration...so don't worry about it...we all poke our noses in places they shouldn't be...that's the fun in it.

I drove by this the other day, not really sure much on it but I am thinking of looking into it some and finding a place to park and walking over, but first I need to find people to go with me since going alone is never fun.
