Does anybody else find the idea of a guided tour completely at odds with the idea of exploration?

It is at odds with true exploration I imagine. But I do not find anything particularly wrong with it. N.

Ack that's horrible. And finding him on Nexus? Wow. That's seriously impressive research. IMO, this boy saddens me. I'm new to this exploring bit, and it's irresponsible people like him that give newly acquainted explorers’ such as myself a bad reputation, and supplies the furtherment of hostility and lack of trust to people like me; newbie’s. The UER forums are surprising to me, this thread I guess in particular shows a lot of drama and unrelated topics.

Seems to me explorers throughout the world have used and sometimes relied on local natives to help them, Sherpas, Picts, Scouts, Bushmen. Whatever, this is all so silly considering what it started out as. Sochill is young and has no sense. I think this has probably been a learning experience for him. Take the hard right from now on Sochill its easy to be a knuckle head.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

Yeah this is very disappointing. Thought the guy was just confused about cutting a fence. Turn out he's just an immature kid vandalizing stuff. Very sad. I take back what I said previously about the perceived maturity of this kid, and "applauding" him.

Its certainly in the works, however I can't seem to find one with a good enough P.A. system, may just have to call the whole thing off.

Ask Sochill to help you, or at the very least, he and his friends could draw pictures of a tourbus on the walls...

Well, now that Sochill and company have upped the alert levels of Woodlands for people who were planning on going who have never been there, at least let us know if your scheme with the girls worked and you actually got laid. ...what can I say, I like surprise happy endings. Well, until things get pregnant all around you.

Brass tacks, If you want to do Woodlands do it, there is active security yes, but for the most part he (singular) guards the crane's. The whole place is going to be Demo'd soon regardless of any heritage status. It is not cost effective to maintain, it is also an eyesore to all the lovely condos that are sprouting up (sarcasm) not 100 feet from the main building. I started this post because I figured there might be some people that needed just a little extra motivation to get out, and I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet some people in the process. Instead I got attitude, the offer remains open althought the last person who said they were going to go didn't show or even leave a courtesy PM. However what I would suggest is if you haven't gone to this site, you better get on it because it won't be around much longer and it is exquisite. Already since the first time I visited the landscape has changed dramatically. Its accessable by transit. Red Mission pssh, sochiill has already proved that. Carpe Diem. T.L. P.S. Jester that was the Cafe not Pathology

You do of course realize that when I frequented the place it wasn't one nimrod guarding a crane, it was security onsite with the New west Police K-9 unit handily on the grounds (at the security post at the entrance on McBride). Police dogs on site is a *Red* mission. As the place stands now, it's not. But when all the buildings were standing it wasn't the same as it is now.

Of course people like Sochill still went there, but instead sometimes people like him got caught (and like one explorer let me know, got caught and dragged out by the police dogs, resulting in cuts/bruises and a couple hundred dollars in fines).

Places change and security levels change...

As you will notice by the pics I have posted it was around the same time maybe earlier. I guess the door says pathology, but theres obviously a chow hall off the kitchen. You want to create "mythos" go ahead. I keep it real. T.L.

You think you were there earlier ?

Or you think you did it better ?

I seem to recall you mentioning the buildings you didn't get into at woodlands... Oh well, at least I got into them...

There was only a single building on the property I didn't get into, and that was the admin office, as it was being used, then suddenly be ripped apart... (Wolfman and Viper did go in while it was semi demolished though)

Quite possible, I was first on that site in 2002. If you compare the pics between the wraiths site and my own you will see what I mean. There may of have been a building or two I didn't get into so what. This is where we differ, this is not a competition for me, from our very first communication Jester has been hostile and confrontational towards me. I'm tired of the hostility and accusations. I don't need validation from the wraiths or anyone, I do however enjoy discussion and positive comments from people with similar interests. What I don't do is distort facts and information. Jester obviously is a talented individual great, I see everyone as having thier own individual strengths and weakness's. That's why I like to meet people, we are all different and unique. As far as crossfires statement someones gonna get hurt, well more then likely it will be me. I am new to this forum so it's easy to pick on me, bullies are the same where ever you go. Peace, love, and UE. T.L.

Don't try and flip it and play the victim.

You brought it up, I responded truthfully and acurately.

If someone throws a rock, they have no right to complain when one gets thrown back at them.

I was there, you were there.

We can leave it at this.
