Anyone exploring ww2 bunkers in Europe or Russia?
Did anyone seen http://www.theserp...ll.com/page35.html
Does anyone know her?

Bodly go in places that no one notice.
Greetings from Serbia, and dont forget to drop in...

I think we all fell in love with Lena from Chernobyl - and had our hearts broken when she was revealed as a fraud...Now she claims it was all a work of fiction...

I'm not in Europe or Russia, but I've been in a few bunkers here in the states...

Can't speak for the WW2 bunkers but from what I've read there are quite a few in the countryside but they tend to be booby trapped and locals stay away from them.

Where have you read that and where those bunkers are (whose exactly locals)? What kind of trapps? Where are you from?
Its a little odd that no one on this forum is familiar with ww2 bunkers...

I'm familiar with WW2 bunkers. Visited some in Paris, Berlin, Montreal, and others. Never been to Serbia though.

From her site : "These stories are about prison life during the times of the late U.S.S.R and after collapse."

USSR collapse in/around 1991 (with Glastnosk and the Perestroika and other reforms, plus de Wall coming down in 1989).

Let's say she's 30 and I doubt she is according to her picture. She would have been UNDER 15 years old in 1991. I know kids were put in prisons back then but they were mostly put in orphanages and asylums. So that's odd.

And she's saying she did "prison life" during the times of the late USSR. Which means she would have been in prison at 8 or 10 years old. This would have been very very odd as she should have been put in an orphanage or an asylum back then, according to USSR standards. Even more odd.

Yet, her face looks perfect. No scars, no nothing. Very odd.

So I strongly think that's a big hoax.

I'm from the US. I believe the magazine was National Geographic. Locals is a term meaning people who live in the area. Anyway the bunkers in question weren't WW2 but ones from various conflicts that have been fought in the area in recent years. According to the article some of them were booby trapped with explosives and old munitions.

Here in Belgium we have several bunkers, dating from WW1 and WW2, most are pretty much the same in design and construction. They were made to slow down the advancing enemy and as forward intelligence outpost (most had some sort of communication system inside them like a phone or a transmitter). Can't say much more about them. There are some very good books around on bunkers but alas, I can't think of any names right now, search the net for them.

And traps?? well, if there were any, they were most likely improvised an disfunctional by the years that passed. Both sides sweeped the areas around them to make sure there wasn't any harm anymore for there own troops and also in view to use them for there own purposes. Don't worry about traps.

A 1000 days of sorrow can disapear in a split second, it takes only one person to make it happen.
