in my adventures, i have taken many good pictures, and id like to share them with y'all, but they are all to large. So, any advice about either compressing them, or any free web sites that host pictures? Thanks.

Dude, I have to warn you... if this was real life and not the internet, you be dead. An angry mob would be tearing you to pieces and dousing you with gasoline. There are about a billion threads already on this topic, in the future, please use the search button unless you want a horde of angry trolls to call you bad names.

That said... If you don't want to deal with Photoshop and such,
http://www.irfanview.com/ has a free program for shrinking photos. I often host mine on www.flickr.com but there are plenty of other free photo services out there...

I look forward to seeing your pics.

Or to go the easy way any windows user has use MS-Paint.. open the pic in paint and hit Ctrl-W then change the horizontal and vertical (keeping them at the same value) untill the pic is under 100k then post it directly to the forums
