| | Anyone get aboard the Kalakala? < on 12/12/2005 1:32 AM >
| | | the http://www.kalakala.org/ is an old art deco ferry that's been out of commission for decades. You can read the history & see pix on the website. (vessel tour). It was moored in Seattle a few years ago, but now its in Tacoma. [last edit 12/12/2005 1:32 AM by espressobuzz - edited 1 times]

| | | That ferry used to be abandoned up in Alaska, formerly it was used as a fish processing plant. I missed out on it while it was up here, so maybe I'll try to check it out next time I'm down in that area.

| | | Me and a few friends got aboard the Kalakala one night a few years ago. Naturally, we took nothing, left nothing, damaged nothing. These look ok on my 1024x768 monitor, but you may need to scroll to the right.

| | | More excellent shots, Espressobuzz. I particularly like the composition on the second and fourth photographs. Keep up the good work. I don't have a girlfriend dragging me to Tacoma once a month anymore, so it looks like I'll have to make a special trip to visit the ferry.
