| | | Greetings! I'm new to the forum. Just wondering if anyone has been inside Worcester State Hospital?

| | | I have been in. The entrance I used has been bricked over. No, not just boarded up, bricked. It's pretty neet inside but...well...no, it's not terribly exciting. I imagine the administration tower, the one with the clock? It would be far more interesting than the wing that I was in. But uhhh...good luck with that. There are plenty more Kirkbrides around than Worcester though...

| | | Maybe it was nature, but I'm betting it was kids, maybe even UErs . . but someone thought it would be really cool to go inside and take off a dozen or so boards off the windows, until the powers that be thought it would be equally as cool to start bricking up entrances. Way to go vandals. take only pictures, leave only footprints . . means dont make an obvious entrance like big holes where boards used to be.

| | | And also, any good explorer knows that a window-board makes a better door than a window - in the literal sense. Come on, kids, how hard is it to replace the board that you pull off, once you've left? I've been making doors out of window-boards for years with no issues. Note: when I went to Worcester, the board from the window was long gone. I would have been a good samaritan and replaced it had it not been. It may have been too late anyway. They may have already known. I went back but a week and a half later with a camera only to find the grass cut and the windows bricked.
