Background:
I really don't have much information on this place as I only recently found out about it. Was obviously used to make rubber products. The structure was built in 1961 and may have been closed for asbestos contamination.
Status:
The now abandoned site has no security. For Sale signs are posted and there is evidence of clean-up activity after a fire that gutted parts of the building.

This is what you would see if you were driving down the road in front of the factory.

A creepy old vent.
This looked like some sorta pump house or something. It was off the main building down by the water.
A nice sky shot. Notice the old water tower in the corner.
Some big storage tanks.
Rubber scraps by the tons were dumped by the water.
Some nasty slime seeping out of the storm drain system.

That reward sign reminds me of those "Phasar Contracting" signs on the old abandoned gas stations here in Toronto. They have a number for you to call and report things. When you do phone them I heard, they don't do anything.
I also wonder how many people have actually called the individuals about this reward, probably to find it's a hoax.
