Is there any way to turn these off? Or at least disable them from acting as a new PM?
I know theres a little message at the bottom of each saying click here to never see this event again. The problem is that this is only event specific and I just end up with new ones every week.
And please, where is this feature in the profile to turn Event Notifications off. Because I have looked long and hard, and it is nowhere to be found.
Its almost like getting spam on UER, and becoming really freakin' annoying.

Some of us are interested in learning about what's going on around us, and don't consider it spam to know about events that happen.

No that I've erased my location from 'Toronto, ON, Canada' I now get greeted with a new banner on every page: "UER.ca MEMBERS: Please Fill Out Your Profile!".
