Old Navy Base

Located in North Charleston, SC, the base is still semi active - but has many abandoned buildings, many of which are wide open and ready to explore. I suggest going on a Sunday as the security seems to be lacking and things are like a ghost town. I also suggest exploring in small numbers to attract less attention. Some of the buildings have asbestos warnings posted, so be careful of that as well. The base is in the process of being redone... so the time is now!

If you would like to see more of my photos of the base ---> http://www.flickr.com/photos/43223241@N00/sets/283564/

We've (me, ascjake, abandonedsc, mark, longbough, etc...) been all around there. I especially used to go to the power house on boring days when I lived in downtown charleston. There's pictures in the db of some of the abandoned houses around there and the power house.

That's pretty much what I do when I'm bored too.
