Man, there are sad news all around! Too many places being demoed. At least two structures are being saved (one of which is boring and uninteresting.)

MOUNDSVILLE - Buildings are coming down at the site of former Fostoria Glass plant.
Developer Harold Games said Monday that the state Department of Environmental Protection has approved the razing of three buildings, one of which is now a pile of rubble. Another already is partially down, and the third is scheduled to meet the wrecking ball today.

Games said once the go-ahead is received from the DEP, all but two of the remaining buildings will be removed.

Games pointed out that original plans were to salvage the building materials, but those plans have changed and, as a result, the buildings will be removed more quickly than anticipated.

Very sad news... It's somewhat of a shock for me to realize that two places I've explored this year are gone now. Fostoria I knew was coming, but Mountain State really shocked me.
