| | | Yeah, when I first saw the place with the razor wire and all I thought I had found some high security mosque or Moslem enclave too until I walked over to it I realized it was all styrofoam! Property belongs to a publishing company I was hoping to find a 12.5mm "Dshika" on the roof.

I should have said polyurethane foam to be precise, lots of stuff you see on TV and movies is sculpted from it.

| | | true true alot of stuff is made of PU foam I belive this stuff was made with pu foam and with polystyrene foam by coating it with a thin layer of gunite like they make pools with. The bricks and stuff were carved out of big blocks of Polysty with a thingy called a hot knife which is basicly a coat hanger bent into whatever shape with a car battery charger connected to either end to make it hot then passed though the foam to carve whatever. pretty odd stuff A whole lot going to school for stage craft does right soulda been a doc like mom wanted ;)

| | | Looks like it's a movie back lot, according to the Tuesday's Dallas News. Businessman Jack Stadtman wants to turn this one-time TV movie set in South Dallas into a permanent film back lot.
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |
