| | | A few weeks ago, I visited Hanson Pipe & Products, Inc. They make all sorts of prefab concrete products, but specialize in drainage/sewage pipes and modular utility tunnel prefabs. I had a blast sneaking around and hiding from workers driving around on forklifts while still trying to take time-delayed pictures with a full tripod. Check it out here: http://www.basementfreaks.org/expos/hanson/ edit: changed the title to make more sense [last edit 8/30/2003 1:27 AM by MacGyver - edited 1 times]

| | | That place IS pretty cool, man a long time ago when I was like 15 on some drunken stoned night I was walking home and made a shortcut through that place... I think I'd enjoy it more these days. Kudos Krazy!

| | | Very interesting. I always wondered about the construction of culverts, I saw they were made in segments, but I never thought of where they came from. It looks like they make fillet box's like that too. It seems like sometimes when I'm in a drain the floor is asphalt. I still wonder what the advantages or disadvantages of using RCP over a fillet box or mummy or anything else would be. Anyone know?
