Ketchup..... fruit from the Gods

| | | Has anyone ever been to or have any information on the abandoned Salvatorian Seminary, Church, and JFK prep school, located in St Nazianz, WI? I was there over the weekend, didn't go in it...it's under heavy surveillance.. I did take some pictures of the outside of the buildings.

| | | I'm in love with that place, my jaw just dropped as soon as I pulled in! I'm interested in all of it, mainly the church and seminary. The grounds are open to the public since there is a cemetary there..... but the buildings are watched. According to the locals if you can catch the owner and explain your intentions, he's more than happy to let you have free run of the place. Typically he won't let anyone in the church because of the flooring. I spent a good 3 hours there just outside, there was a van(who may have been the owner), but no one else in sight. I plan to go again this weekend to see if I can find him.

| | | Yes, the owner is a pretty nice guy IF you explain your intentions and are up front with him. If he has time, he'll walk you through but he doesn't usually let people go through the buildings alone. Try catching him on a Saturday- there was a film crew there this week (22-24) so I don't know if he'll around this Sat. or not. Worth a check! (don't mention any UE or similar ideas, he loves to call the cop out-) The road through to the cemetery and the cemetery itself is public thoroughfare, but the grounds and the buildings are private property, just so that's clear.
The church/ cathedral is actually in good shape as far as flooring goes, the big push is for a new roof (but there's no roof access on that building, so I don't imagine you'd find yourself in trouble up there... unless you really try *L*) Technically the whole ground is a seminary, I'm guessing you mean the giant building on the circular drive- the old school building. It's probably the worst of all the buildings, pretty hard to get through- if the owner will take you through it, you'll need good boots (lots of glass, metal, debris) and a flash light (most of the windows are boarded shut). There are a lot of left over bits from the occasional haunted houses throughout the different basements, kind of fun to see. The grounds are amazing, I think it's a fascinating place and worth saving but there seems to be a lot of controversy about it. Let me know if you get in and what you think of it!

| | | $50 ha. He let me go through all the buildings by myself, didnt have to pay, I think I'm the only person he lets run around as I please. Some production company wrote me, there doing "The Worlds Scarriest Places" show fot ABC Family there. I couldnt be less interested in doing there show.
