" The construction of this building, created by Spanish architect Fernando Ramírez de Dampierre, lasted from 1921 to 1925. The structure would feature a total length of 241m, with 75 doors on each side and 'more windows than days in a year'! In 1928 this was the largest train station in Europe."

Yes, relaxed and laid back indeed. In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by high mountains, you find this huge deserted building. Complete nonsense!

Just to add my voice to the chorus of approval. As has been noted, you approached this with a true archeologist's eye, and that is very much appreciated. A very interesting bit of history.

Cheers

Yes, and I might stick to this approach in the future. But especially this location was an important one for me, because I grew up in this place (French side, but now living in Belgium).
Unfortunately, abandoned locations with such great historical past are quite rare.

Also, I did not mention it yet in this thread, thanks to bikepunk for the great French to English translation.
