Midland TX ruins of amusement park

There's a location in Midland that formerly was some type of amusement park. All that is left from the original location is a few foundations, a bridge, remains of a concrete lined moat/river and pieces of a train ride's track. None of the buildings are there, but you can find foundations of places like concessions stands and the ticket booth.

I've known of this location since 1996, when I moved to Midland and started skateboarding with local skaters and punks. We used this as a skate spot and only a skate spot. The location was also a favorite for graffiti writers, BMX riders and people with 4X4 vehicles.

I have since gone and returned from college. I went by the place to see what's left and if anyone still skates it. The concrete moat/ditch that we skated hasn't been skated in a while and is full of debris. It also appears that the place has become a location for people to ditch yard waste, mattresses tires etc. Some paintball kids have taken a lot of the junk and made bunkers and forts to play paintball. The dirt jumps that the BMX kids made have all eroded and become overgrown.

I guess that's what happens when the town that isn't skate/bike friendly finally opens a public skatepark and has a private skatepark. The bikers and skates discard the old favorite spots and they get taken over by trash and paintball gamers.

Would anyone be interested in seeing pictures of the site? I have photos of the moat/ditch, the railroad track remains, and some shots of the foundations. Since there aren't any buildings left I thought I'd make sure people wanted to see what I had before I uploaded them. Should I just add photos here for a preview or should I put it straight into the location DB.

If I do put it in the DB I will find out as much as I can about it:
-The amusement park's name
-When and how long it was in operation
-How it got to it's current condition
-What the features and attractions where
