| | | You're allowed on the grounds during daylight hours. Without being too specific, security there has gotten very tight and it's strongly not recommended to attempt access. I think the inside of the buildings are actually miked or something and the police will come in after you.

| | | I hear that someone on this board got busted there I walked around for two hours and the feeling I got was "Dont Even Try It" Security is tighter that it looks. The few photos of the inside that I have seen didnt look to intrusting Not worth the risk Try something simple like St. Elizabeth's or the Walter Reed main building [last edit 8/3/2005 2:31 AM by NickSan - edited 1 times]

ha. St E's is locked up even more than the main building at Forest Glen. You can't even get onto the federal grounds of St. E's. Either way...they are protected by some form a electronic security. Nicksan's instincts are dead on. There are some spectacular things inside(the chapel and ballroom come to mind), but it is not worth it. A few of the buildings are currently being restored by the Alexander Company, into a form of residential housing. I had a long history typed up...but then firefox decided to hang. I don't feel like typing it again. Do a google search for "Forest Glen Seminary" and you can get some answers.
With that said, I can't wait when this damn thread will return search results...

I am utterly confused. The link will do absolutely nothing for him/her. Edit: You are not even sure what it is the person wanted to know...why try and address it? [last edit 8/4/2005 10:45 AM by msb - edited 1 times]

| | | According the Post, we're looking at a number of years before the base transitions from federal to DC govt control, if it does at all.
