|  | | | they have been doing construction on the patullo for the last year or so. Around november of last year i lead a small team up underneath the bridge, at that time you could walk all the way across. i went back last night and found that they have taken away most of the middle section, so unless you are a monkeybar supremest, getting across underneath is next to impossible. But if you enjoy sitting on the edge of a plywood platform, with only your feet and water below you i suggest you go up! its soo beautiful up there and you can watch the bridge open for tug boats and such. Security almost caught us last night, so beware, the area is patrolled.

|  | | | Well... I did it about 2 or 3 months ago. We couldn't get all the way across as they had the centre area tarped off because of lead paint and we didn't have masks with us. There will be more construction starting on there soon though. A different company was awarded the next phase, so this company is dismantling all of their stuff and the new company should be moving in around September. There is security on site there now too. We went from the New West side, it was a pretty cool trip. From the Surrey side I believe you can still get to the catwalks near the middle, you have to ascend a ladder to do it. We couldn't sneak past security on the Surrey side.
Edit: Actually, my avatar is me climbing down one of the ladders on the New West side.
