New Rochester group

Desolation is a new UE group that I just started based out of RIT. Anyone in the Rochester area who's interested in joining our group or working with us on any trips let me know. I'd love to get a good active group of people together.

We've got a website at www.desolationonline.com but since I just whipped it up quickly it's got some major bugs and only shows up properly on internet explorer. I'm redesigning and reprogramming the whole thing and will have it up in a few weeks.

The e-mail on the Desolation site doesn't seem to be working... I'm interested in joining, and know some good places in the area.

Hey man, I would love to join in exploring with you guys. I live on campus and it would be great to start before the weather gets to bad around here. Actually this weekend itself looks great. How many members strong is this group so far?

Very nice layout. I'm impressed. Gotta get s'more content going.

<reuben> somebody keeps jiggling the doorknob on my front door, then running away
<reuben> i don't know if i should call the police, or hook up some electricity to the doorknob
<cristobal> why don't you put ice on the stairs <cristobal> and heat up the door knob <cristobal> and swing paint buckets down from your two story foyer <cristobal> then a few years later, fade from the public eye.....

Station number six, eh? I remember trying to get up into that place. The basement area is crazy, with water shooting out of those openings in the wall and tanks, rebar juttin everywhere, and the decrepit basement above your head. Real cool place. Can't wait to see what is up the stairs.

Unfortunately neither DriverDan nor I had a camera on that trip. I'll have a log for the trip, but I'll have to go back at some point to get some pics.

It's pretty cool. The station supplied power to the subway so there is a huge wall there with giant knife switches that is no longer used. The rest of the building is still in use.

I'd join but I'm too old and I really mean OLD. I do have a lot of experience though.
