just finished reading the book last night.

It's a great book, that i think any level of explorer will enjoy. I personally loved the short stories of Ninja's various explorations the best. However many of his tips were extremely helpful, even to someone who's been exploring for a long time.

Mine arrived yesterday. I have not had a chance to read much so far, but what I have read has been excellent. What a fantastic legacy that Ninj left for the UE community. If anyone has been thinking about ordering it, this thread should be reason enough. Go get it!

Last night was pretty good...met a lot of UER people that I haven't met already. Though there was clearly more "art" people than UER/Infiltration people there, which I thought was a bad thing at first, but I heard them talking about "urban exploration" so thats a good thing I think.

Oldtimer, thanks for the ride again

I just started reading my copy, and I must add a 'Hell, yeah!" to the above. Ninjalicious is the reason the vast majority of us are here today to begin with, whether you know it or not.

I must admit, I enjoyed reading it; at first I started skipping through the chapters involving elevator chasing and infiltration, but then I was bored one night and read that too and the same thing occurred to me; this guy had some great writing style, and especially a sense of humor.

Example "Breaking and entering does not necessarily involve "breaking""
Convict to you in prison "What are you in for?"
You reply "I entered" I laughed openly when I read that.

It was a good read. I have no knowledge of the publishing industry but I was wondering what limited some of the pictures to un decipherable blur.

Minor problem.

I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying.

I just got my hands on it two days ago. I've read only the introduction at this point, but I really appreciate the tone this book is written in.

It looks to be a very helpful guide and explantation of exploring and infiltration, and I'll give it my two thumbs up.

Got mine a long time ago, however just finished it last night. Great read, I learned a lot of things I will try out in future explorations. Ninj's witty jokes were great.

I also wanted to note that the book has a lot of discussion about getting into active locations, which is awesome. New England has so much abandoned stuff, most people don't worry about active sites. But lately I've been curious about building interiors, secret rooms and tunnels, and rooftops. Hopefully the tips and encouragement I've gotten from this book will lead to some decent finds in this 370 year old city, that still has plenty of early 1800s architecture still standing.

I'm curious about peoples opinions on weather or not a book like this would draw more attention to the hobby. And if so do you think its a good thing to have more people involved or a bad thing?. In my mind of course having urban exploring become mainstream would be terrible. I am not against this book coming out, I am infact eagerly awaiting it. Any opinions?

Maybe you should start a new thread rather than change the thread from people "reviewing" the book to potentially criticising it? Maybe not?

I always hope that what we do can't become commercial or mainstream because of liability (in many places if you get hurt, you can sue) and the fact that Nike would never use something that is illegal. However I have heard that there is a series on cable about exploring :s

Cheers,

Doug.

PS. I have given out the 40 copies of Access All Areas in Australia. I will add a photo here soon.
