im going to take pictures today so I will post them when I get back. The reason why I wont tell you where it is on the forum is because it's funner to find it on your own or if I take you. But really if anyone wants to go send me a message, next week is open for me. you can go during the day too, no security, no no trespassing signs, gonna ask the people at the library what it used to be and some history on it.

Concord State Hospital (NH)

There's nothing to explore there. It's all active and surrounded by other active buildings (the high school, private homes). Make no mistake, the politicians would like to see it shut down (as would I), but it would probably end up being demo'd or repurposed fairly quickly.

Depends where you go in NH. Head north and you're bound to find lots of places abandoned in times of economic bust. I heard rumors of some schools in northern NH closing due to structural problems, so those could be potential UE sites if the plans to close them go forward.

Actually it's more like because the squirrels outnumber us 40:1.

Seriously, there's very little "urban" to speak of in NH. It only gets worse the farther north you go... I think there's still snow on the ground in Colebrook.

But we do have the Kancamagus highway, awesome for motorcycling! And we have the only constitution in the world that gives its citizens the right to revolution.

Back to exploration... there's a ruined castle out west, a couple forts in the seacoast region, soon to include the Portsmouth Naval Yard. Some of the mill buildings along the Merrimack have yet to be repurposed into swank real estate for start-ups and yuppie lofts, but all those I've found are difficult to get into.

Ooh, and there's this dumpster at the nearby mall that reminds me of the garbage compactor in Star Wars. It's a big badass dumpster, it was worthy of being urbexed.

Starman yes I am that 16 yr old photographer from NH.

Im gonna post the pictures later tonight once there uploaded. This place used to be college dorms, my boss use to live there while in college back in the 80's. The place was being renovated a little bit, but to renovate the whole place, would take a lot of work. It was just weird to the max, looked like noone had been in there for a while like, they just totally stopped renovating the small part they were. Been going by it latly and still never see any trucks or anything. either way inside was OK. pics will be up tonight.

by the way there are places in NH, you just gotta look, ive found a bunch, in maine theres a bunch too.
