You have to do lot of research and lot of land survey.

here is the very west, west island map.

sure, all of them!

I worked hard to have them and spent many days doing the survey around the island. I don't want to make them public yet.

Hey Nanook,

I have some historic maps showing the locations of the local creeks before our neighbourhood was developed to death. They might be helpful for your field reconnaissance. PM me with an email address if interested.

Hmmm...seeing that drainage map raises a question:

Is it possible to access the old theatre in St-Annes through those tunnels?

The old Rex theatre is used to film movies but must be awesome from the inside.

what is the address of the theater?

In any way I don't think you can enter any building by a sewer... unless you are a rat or 12" wide.

Hey SPEK,

83 rue Sainte-Anne, in the village.

See the article on page 4...
http://jacinet.joh...ves/v32issue04.pdf

The last I'd heard is that Repercussion Theatre wanted to make the Rex their home. Not sure what (if anything) became of that plan.

Good luck with the computer.

I would also love to check out that theatre. I highly doubt there is an entrance from the drainage system, though.

You can't do that without rope.

based on spec form other theatres fo the same period, and the local geology, the answer is a big fat NO. the "legendary tunnel system" doesn't even go near there, and (as spek pointed out) you'd have to be a small frog to use most of the drainage systems in a place like this.

Urban development is what happens when the planners are trying to figure out what to do. By the time they have it sorted, the development has already happened.

83 rue st-anne... the biggest drain output around there is 900mm and you can see it on the map I posted earlier. Remember that sewer pipes and pluvial drain usually goes smaller and smaller as you walk away of the output.

Ive been in that theatre, when it was running. Its in good shape, running equipment and so on, nothing interesting. However, I will be back in the west island soon around december.

Anyone ever hear about the abondened buildings at the college? Or the old hospital in the woods? Ive been in the abondoned dorm, want to check out this small village in the forest in st. annes.
