I live in Chicago, so I tend to stick around here, but I regularly photograph and explore when I'm on vacation and will drive many hours for a good location.
I normally post to an urban_decay community on Livejournal.
I have a soft spot for abandoned movie palaces of the early 1900's.

I've been at this a long time now, about 20 years, and I have no intention of stopping ever! Hope to get around out of state more in the future, maybe I'll see some of you around! I'm John. I explore areas around Lafayette, IN while I'm at Purdue and around Ann Arbor, MI when im at home. I don't have a car, just a racing (pedal) bike, so my range is around 25 miles. There really arent too many abandoned buildings around Purdue so i have more or less been resorting to drain tunnels. Its nice to meet you all.

I wish I had all the pictures that I have taken but the Ex got the computer and camera in the divorce.
Right now I am kind of limited to the area because I do not have a car and am limited to how far I feel like pedaling.
Would love to hook up with some other explorers in the area some time.
