| | | | Roll call! < on 4/21/2005 7:52 PM >
| | | So uh, in order to make this new public shit work, people gotta have something to read right? Well how bout we start off with a roll call of everyone that checks the Great Lakes forum out. I'd like to hear from everyone in the region. Se who's all here and where they primarily explore. I'll start: I'm Mark, AKA Asylunt. I Explore primarily in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I get out to neighboring towns from time to time, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Kansas City, and the rural expanses in between. Keep it rolling, I'd like to see if we could organize a small meet in a midwestern town and get a chance to know everybody. Maybe even a town we know nothing about. Well, that's my good deed for today, you all take it from here. Asylunt Edit: Uh, like i tried to make it pubilicly viewable and then when it went to preview it unchecked the box and I hit post before I could fix it, so like one of you Mod people fix it for me. ~A [last edit 4/21/2005 7:53 PM by Asylunt - edited 2 times]

| | | I'm Noah and I live/explore in Chicago. I sometimes go to Gary Indiana, or anywhere else that I can get to via public transportation or bicycle. Not having a car kind of prevents me from exploring some of the outlying areas, but I'm not complaining--the city manages to keep me busy. Thanks for starting this thread, Asylunt--I like the meet-up idea. -N

| | | Im Todd aka GreyKat...Im in the Twin Cities and get out exploring all over the country. I travel for work often and make it a point to meet new explorers where I go and see what I can. Ive met some great folks doing this, many of them here. Asylunt thats a great idea about putting together a lakes region meetup! If there is enough interest I would help set this up.

I think this region isnt cut up well because you also have the Kansas City area included and would you want to have all the KC explorers too?
Deep into the darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before; But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token, And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, Lenore?, This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, "Lenore!" Merely this, and nothing more. |

| | | I live in yay Canada! now, but I'm from northern Indiana. I'm familiar with the South Bend and Indy areas. Also, I'm going to be back at the end of next month, so if anyone wants to get together for some exploration, PM me. This includes the Northern Indiana and southwest Michigan areas, Detroit, and Toledo.
WTF indeed. |

| | | <----- Name's over there. I rule the night. Anyway, another Twin Cities explorer, soon to be moving to the rockies. Grew up here though (sort of) so I'll be in and out as far into the future as I can see.
BTW, I'll be in Chicago for a couple days at the beginning of May if anybody has any free time and wants to explore.

| | | I don't explore shit. I just pretend I do and so far everyone's believed all my BS. But I wouldn't mind meeting some REAL explorers some time. That would be so cool if I could get my picture taken with all you guys. Then everyone would think that I am an explorer too.

| | | This is Blake aka Duck219 of O.U.U.E. Ohio University Urban Exploration. I am part of small group of explorers down here in Athens, and have found it to be an excellent exploring town. There is a lot to explore, with fairly relaxed security. I would also love to see a Great Lakes meet sometime. Keep the roll call going!

| | | Hi! I'm Mike. I live in Minneapolis, and primarily explore here, St. Paul, and surrounding smaller towns. I'd love to branch out and see some of the other sites in the midwest. It'd be great to meet explorers from other cities and share stories and whatnot.

| | | I'm Sean, AKA TheRev, I'm in Columbus right now, though originally from Cincinnati (and I drift down there every once in a while). I'm a little new to the formal game, but love exploring and having fun (in that sweet UE kinda way). I usually explore with Servo, we're pretty open to showing people the places we've found around here (hopefully he doesn't mind me extending the offer), and if you can con him into going somewhere I'll tag along (I have no car at the moment).

| | | We actually have a thread about this going, but apparently no mods have seen the call to make it publically viewable. We actually have lots of shit here. I even mentioned that i will be in Chicago soon. I'll PM MacG and see if he can fix this.

| | | I feel like this is AA or something, Hi, my name is Charity, aka Jadenala, and I am an urban explorer. I explore mostly in the Twin Cities and travel with Greykat (my boyfriend) once in awhile and explore with him wherever we go. Asylunt, I think that would be awesome if we all tried to get together a meetup or something of our region and would also be willing to help out of needed.
