|  | | | Has this changed? I want to delete a gallery, but it's telling me that only Administrators can do that. I'm sure I saw examples of users deleting galleries before.
Basically, why cant I remove my own photos?

I don't agree to it. The only person I want editing my photos is me. I took them, they're mine to do with as I please.
Therefore, please remove all my entries and photos from the DB. I don't want a big discussion about this, I just want them removed. And since I can't do it myself, I'll need a Mod to do it for me.

Since it only applies to photos which already violate the existing rules, we could always take the alternate approach: Since you posted a photo that violates the rules, we just ban you. That's the easiest way.
Since this is clearly not a very desirable solution, the better one is to remove the offending photo, or even better: simply remove the offending section of the photo.

Here in the US we ignore or break as many international laws as possible*, so I don't know if UER is technically liable if the server is in Texas. If it were me, I would have just deleted offending photos, but apparently most people preferred to have thiers censored rather than removed.
*Neither I or the administration of UER necessarily agrees with this policy, I'm just bringing it up to illustrate a legal position.

I would like to think if I made a similar request it would be granted, as it legally should be.

The Hitman's Daughter and Ednothing are the ones that field those types of requests. So he simply needs to PM one of them with his request, and as soon as they are able, they will accomodate him.
