I used to use one to spy on my brother when I was little by putting it up to the window/door/wall and listen in on the other side. I suppose it has the same applications for UE as it would be good for detecting guards/cops on the other side of doors. I never thought about using it for UE till just now; now that I don't have mine anymore. The only reason I know is because he got all freaked one day when I knocked it on the ground. Needless to say I didn't enjoy spending time in his room after he told me about that....
