Here's the first of four explorations from the roadtrip I took with Pixie. the main goal was to find the hospital that turned out to be fictional. Epidemik on the forum here was the culprit, pretending he was an urban explorer... and making up the hospital...

oh well, we still explored a few places, so it was still fun anyways.

Hrm. Kinda a scary experience. And no obvious explanation for that pic either... freaky.

Yeah, definitely. I'm not the kind of person that gets freaked out. If you ask people that know me, they'd say I've got ice water in my veins when it comes to facing danger or the unknown. But that place, I had such an uneasy feeling the whole time, it was very weird...

and the pic, yeah, it goes into my *anomolies* file, along with a few other weird ones from other places... and it's especially strange considering the pic was without flash, in a completely black place, no lights within a few hundred yards at least (I killed my light as soon as I heard the noise, to see if I'd see light anywhere down there)

Scary stuff, but still fun for all ages!

I tried enhancing the pic, it's not much, but hey, why not stir some more imaginations:

I see two white dots on a black background, but I can totally imagine being there when it happened. I too have no idea what those could be, but there are some lines that look roofish if you look closely, but that's probably just jpg crud.

I have some pretty spectacular image editing software that is used by NASA to increase resolution and legibility of shots taken from deep space. I have plugged this image into the program, and it amazed me what I found... take a look...

oh god, hehehe I actually thought for a minute that you had some sort of amazing filtering software. Nice prank, TMC. Kudos.

Yeah, hehehe, I thought he was serious at first too.

Chuds. it was inside, and we know within about a 10' area where it was taken, just not 100% sure where within that area. I thought she was taking the last pic off to the right of the stairs, she thought she was taking it down the stairs...

/me bows

Thank you, thank you.

Although while I was jerking around, I upped the contrast and brightness and there was definitely a line angling up from the bottom left to mid way through the image. A wall, tabletop, don't know. Definitely some kind of structure, though. The dots could be anything reflective, not necessarily the backs of the eyes of some CHUD. Could have been nails in a wall, or screws, or a bear.

yes, could be anything... anything that gives a reflection with no light ...

Jester is right. If no flash was used and there was no ambient light to speak of, a rusty nail/crew head wouldn't look like that.

Is there any possibility that the picture could have been taken with a window or a crack to the outside world visible? I'm thinking maybe the dots could be light coming through a hole or something from another room or outside.

I considered all that as well. the place is not near anything else. no street lights within visible range, no power in the buildings, when we were walking around all over there, we were the only light sources and because of my weird feeling, I had us keep them to the absolute minimum as if it was a high security infiltration.

When our lights were off, it was freakin dark, and neither of us saw any other lights anywhere. thats what makes it weird...

That's what I was getting at, Jester you smartass! Could there have been ambient light coming from another source - a basement window, perhaps? A flashlight bouncing light off of another reflective surface? A glowing green puddle of toxic ooze that mutated this creature into a wise-cracking turtle with a black belt in ninjitsu?

Of course, we could simply assume a supernatural explanation and leave it at that.

TMC.

Edit - I can't spel.

I'm never one to say something is supernatural without a shit load of proof. But in all honesty, I just have no idea. there are absolutely no light sources there that we didn't carry with us... and ours were all off...

A wise decision. Nobody knows it, but I am the earthly incarnation Urban Exploration, and I am with each and every one of you when you go exploring, draining, roofing, infiltrating, buildering, whatever.

Bless you all. May your buildings be exciting and your drains be deep.

If anyone cares to take a look I lightened it up and changed the levels a bit to get this pic. It's very pixilated but you can see some lighter spots that may indicate what it was. Since I wasn't there I have no clue.

Nice exploration.

Interesting about that picture.... it really could be anything. One for the anomalies folder for sure. I've got a picture like that myself, http://uelondon.minimanga.com/haunt/haunt1.jpg look at the shed where it sticks out to the left side of the house. No bushes in front of it and we're sure it wasn't one of us. Even going back and trying to recreate the shadow figure with a person didn't work.

I don't believe in ghosts, but pictures like that are good just for their strangeness and unexplainibility (if that's even a word)

Anyway, good work Jester as always.

So there I was, in this creepy old hallway...

Alright,

Jester sent me a copy of the pic from the house, right off the camera. So I photoshopped it... I LOOOOVE photoshop My wife and I were looking at it, and she just suggested I try to adjust it a bit, so I fiddled, and well, we saw it. The staircase, from a very low angle. And low and behold I even saw part of the stone/brick pillar (on the right). So I went to Jester's site, and grabbed a copy of the stair pic.

I zoomed in, didn't see anything of a reflection, checked it a little closer... still nothing. Now I believe in ghosts, but that's me, so IMHO my conclusion is there are two very bright f*ckin spirits in that basement, and malicious feeling too. Now everyone can believe what they want and that's fine, I'm not here to discuss ghosts and goblins, so here, I'll post the pics. The first is a modified version of the black looking pic, and the second one I added two red circles where the bright orbs appeared.

...okay I'm including links to the images... can't seem to get them attached... ah well...

Enjoy!

Why is marijuana not legal? Why is marijuana not legal? Its a natural plant that grows in the dirt. You know what's not natural, 80 year old dudes with hardons. Thats not natural, but we got pills for that. We're dedicating all our resources to keeping the old guys erect but we're puttin people in jail for smoking something that grows in the dirt.
