He was known as Suit Case Jack. He spray painted his driveway blue and called it "The new Canoe Canal". He also sewed zippers in his beard. I spoke to him a few times and he thought it was 1949. He rambled. Anyway, in 1990, a fire broke out and he died inside. I managed to get inside the home and wow, the place was totally charred and smelly but he had a collection of discarded dolls and one entire wall was covered with photos of women from the 1960's. There was a destroyed grand piano and amazing wood work throughout the place, complete with a dresser that was built into the wall. Sadly, both homes were torn down and I managed to salvage 5 wine bottles from the early 1920's. Does anyone remember this house?
