I went on a work-related trip to Cordova last weekend, it's a small fishing town with some abandoned railroads nearby, and we drove out to see the semi-famous Million Dollar Bridge. I was able to do some exploring and poke around between meetings and during the bridge field trip:

Olympus C-4000, clear day with no clouds nearby, and the sun was almost directly behind me. I took a panoramic series but I need to adjust the brighness since the ones towards the sun are washed out.

Very nice! I would so love to get up to Alaska to see some of these wicked places myself. I just love seeing what nature can do to man made structures.

Cordova. Million Dollar Bridge. Hilarious.

I find it very funny that they didn't fix it, they just put up a ramp. That photo of the one span down just made my day.

Whittier was very cool, too.
