Hi,
I wanted to make a post se we could politely 'debate' about wich building, place, space ship or any other weird place in canada was the best site to explore.Of course, everyone is going to go for his/(her?) favorite place, and that's great! post as many places you all can! but PLEASE,put at least ONE picture... (to post pictures host them at www.esmartstart.com)

My favorite place (and i personnally think its the greatest place to explore ehe) is the Redpath Sugar refinery.its in montreal. Here's some pictures.

Oh boy.. In cowtown, a place like that would have been torn down years ago and have a zillion condo's on top of it... the city has no respect.

Well I have to say my favorite UE site to date would have to be Parkwood (AKA Veteran's Psychatric) Hospital in London.

Massive structure comprised of 3 wings... this pic was about 2 months before demolition

Hydrotherapy tubs? And some random piece of equipment...

The stage in the auditorium...

Looong hallways...

Plenty of random junk in the basement...

And some tunnels...

Damn, I know I saw a site with a full exploration of the Terminal and a bunch of images... thought I had the link but I don't. I'll be sure to post it when I find it though.

come on guys, tell about your favorite canadian site, that's why I answered correctly and then said "off topic"

I'm going to start another thread for Buffalo Central Terminal but please answer your favorite canadian site here before checking out my post.

THeir use to be a big filtration plant down the street from my house that was abandoned, but they tore it down and put condos. Also they might close a school soon and leave it abandoned, would bring back some memories and theirs already a church beside it thats abandoned.

I posted information on this on the forum.

Bigwin Island Resort on the Lake of Bays in Muskoka Ontario.

This will always be the best, the biggest and the most mysterious of them all. Too bad it's been resored and many buildings were levelled.

The best place I explored was the main tunnel at the WWI Beaumont Hammel battlefield park in the Somme. (the french government ceded the battlefield to Canada in perpetuity, so it is technically Canadian) I was there when the tunnel complex was opened for the first time since 1917, and was one of only a small handful of people to go inside. It had all the adventure elements: Danger, Forbidden Access, History, Filth, Mystery.

It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics.
