Time for some thrilling heroics.
| | Looking for a sneaking suit. < on 10/2/2004 6:46 AM >
| | | I looked all over these forums, and unfortunately, all I could find were threads posting links to BDUs and such. I'd like a suit with some side pockets on the pants, belt storage, and a shit with pockets in the front. Something were I can hold my flashlight, cellphone, walkie-talkie, night vision, and maybe a camera if I ever get one. Thanks!

| | | Well... with the criteria you put forth, it sounds like you just need to go down to Wal-Mart and inf the rack with the cargo pants on them. Sporting good stores sell little belt pouches designed for multitools and suchlike; this would work well for that. As for the "shit" perhaps a photo vest would do the job. Night vision?

My exploration is usually around houses in a suburban/rural area at night. I live near Syracuse NY, the only cool thing to explore are the intricate back-hallways in the mall, there are tons of them. I was wondering if anyone knows of what I'm thinking of. It goes across your chest like one of those one-strap backpacks or a sash, but has a bunch of pockets for storing gear in it. Utica area here. Good to see someone else from the Mohawk Valley! Try the quarry near Drumlins; my Dad used to explore that in the days before lawsuits. As for the suit, can't help you there; Get a black photographers vest, that should hold a ton of gear; Wear black if you do everything at night. Lafayette is to the south of 'Cuse by Tully, right? I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying. |

| | | You probably want a photographer's vest. These are lightweight and tear-resistant and provide support for equipment bags and belts -- precisely as much (or as little) as you need for a specific adventure. http://www.adorama...ts&searchinfo=vest At least, that's what I use.

| | | This thing is really cool looking: http://www.adorama...nfo=vest&item_no=8 Yeah, I'm south of Syracuse, North of Tully. Do you know of any cool places to visit around here? [last edit 10/3/2004 3:30 AM by ngamer007 - edited 1 times]

| | | Lowepro stuff is pretty nice. I have a photo backpack of theirs and a CF card wallet, both are well-made and I use them regularly.

Don't worry dude. I gotcha.
Something like this, right?

| | | I dunno Noah, Wookies aren't know for their sneakiness... on the other hand, I think if you were a 7 foot tall man-ape, you might not have to worry about being sneaky. Now the real question is, why would Chewbacca, a 7 foot tall Wookie, want to live on a planet with a bunch of little Ewoks? I'll tell you why: because it DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. WTF are you talking about? Chewy wasn't from Endora. Besides, Han Solo owned him or something so, he had to go wherever Han Solo went, and Han went to go live on that planet where him and Leia got married or whatever.

But the fact remains that Chewy was wearing exactly what this dude is looking for 25-27 years ago. Ergo, we discuss Chewy and his sneaking attire in this thread.

True, true. Also, the fur would keep him toasty warm on those late-night stealth missions.
