Showed, "Batman" with a big smile on his face almost laughing practically starin right at the camera, and pointing at the police and security on the balcony. Like he was mocking them "Who the hell are these jokers!?" It was a fantastic picture. I agree with these guys. It's the best way to get their campaign the profile they want. Turning up at Number 10 with 1000 names on a petition aint gonna get them anywhere. Showing how stoopid and inept the Palace security STILL is and the that the government aren't paying enough attention to domestic issues (only now claiming to focus on them again) is a brilliant way to get your point across. Previous to the "Fathers for Justice" guys donning their superhero costumes and climbing their way right into the headlines there was zero public awarenwss of the growing problem of fathers rights to access. Its now on the radar. People have an awareness of the distress caused to dads not able to regulalrly see their kids. I have said repeatedly to support my assertion, that there is no court that is going to think that breaching the palace dressed as batman is going to make that person look like a better father. Whether or not the fathers for justice are all over our headlines is trivial, we're on the other side of the pond, the domestic issues won't make much of an impact as it will over there. As has been stated, the idea of the stunt is not to make them look more credible, it's purely to raise awareness. In that sense, clearly these stunts have been VERY successfull, so who cares if the one dude who actually puts himself in the limelight is a dolt? if you ask me, the naked PETA chicks painted up like animals who sit in cages in the middle of winter are much stupider...though more fun to watch. i think the problem we're running into with this thread is that jester and TZ are arguing two different points, meanwhile they're both right. TZ is right because, well, TONS of attention, he's totally right, even I've heard of these guys before and I live in Canada. Jester is right because, whoever volunteered to be Batman probably is a dolt and will be going to court for much more than custody and visitation now. Can't we all just get along?!?!?!
