When I read the statue, it appeared to me to be pertaining to 14-16 year olds as well. I asked the victim's mother about it and she wasn't sure why the DA chose to charge him under that section.
I'm done debating this. I think the thread has served its purpose of alerting the larger exploring community. If anyone finds themselves in the position where they actually need to decide whether to turn him in or not, they now know they can contact someone from KC who can give them more details that haven't been posted online for the sake of privacy.

No question whatsoever about that. I only returned to post on this based on my recollection of the OP sans later edit in which the age was actually specified, and graphic talk of "children's congealed blood on his cock".
I recall my own (slight) surprise when the charge was put up and my own mental image drawn of a stereotypical child molester (that was, and continues to be the term used here) had to be shifted to include the image of a complicit early teen, i.e. statutory.
Of course, it makes no difference legally, since a teen is a minor and has no right to give consent in any case. But people would be lying to assert that the common gut-level response to both would be one-and-the-same.
While describing the situation as that of "child molestation" certainly isn't a lie, I am disappointed that people don't strive for a higher level of truth by simply calling it "statutory rape," which is a more precise description of the crime charged.

You all need to understand what really happened.
There was a 13 year old girl that was the daughter of a roommate of (the guy you all thought I was)
That girl wrote a note to her friend which in short was bragging about making out with an older guy, and that they fondled.
This was found by her dad - the roommate - and was brought directly to police without talking to the guy.
This was brought to him by the police as a civil case that was hearsay.
One laughable point- you all think that due process exists-
You all think that in this case that there is going to be such a thing as fair trial.
That court specifically, with DA's that are still active has been involved in a class action suit which alleges (with definite proof) that equitable evidence was withheld from a defendant on more than 1000 cases, causing a false conviction, causing several hundred combined years in PRISON that will never be repaid to those INNOCENT individuals.
And one other thing, if some of you closed minded people were put into his shoes, would YOU be afraid for your LIFE in Prison where they fucking STAB people with allegations such as this against them?
One thing is for sure, he will not get a fair trial.
Another thing is for sure, the people that I see on here, which I have full names and email addresses and court records for, are all guilty of something, and know how the court systems work.

This man, who has also held a LARGE part of a non-profit organization is also a friend. I lived with him, he's dating a girl 2 years older than him, he has NORMAL porn on his computer. ( I KNOW) and he has NEVER talked ill about women, younger or older.
This scared him, he was scared because cops with un-marked cars PULLED GUNS on him without trigger discipline, and arrested him at work.
He lost his job because the people that saw it looked up the charge, and saw - "CHILD SEX" in all caps behind the alleged crime.
HR called that day with news of "indefinite suspension"
No money.
Now the lawyers that would take the case want 5,000 down.
WITHOUT it going to trial.
He was adopted, and has no family to ask that sort of cash from, he was asking friends for help and sound advice, as I am sure you ALL would.
Now he's in jail, you fucking assholes are thinking that I am him, and are sending me messages trying to meet up with me and jump me or some shit.
You all look soo stupid.
And you have no idea who he was, is, or has been to other people.
This made me sick, and I felt like a giant cock after his name was plastered all over here for logging in after posting his 7,500 dollar bond, to see him leave in fear the next day.
- I still don't blame him. -
I lost that money. It's gone. But he's in custody to await his "fair" trial.
I am collecting money to help pay for something other than a public defender.
If the 13 year old's note written as a brag to a friend sticks, this guy is facing possibly 25 fucking years in Prison.
That's his life ladies and gentlemen.
He was threatened with his life over a note. - that could be just complete BS.
but if the conviction rate is at 76% in OP, and he falls victim to the system's greed, he could be an innocent man getting stabbed in PRISON for something he did not actually do.
