As The Crowe Dies...

There's one major downside to this hobby that I've noticed, and it's the crushing blow of finding out one of your favorite abandoned locations has been demolished. I received the news of one of my local abandonments being demolished via the UE DB (Thank you, Phrenzee.) As soon as I found out, I rushed out to see the damage and boy was I stunned.

This location has been explored by many, and was a well known location in the area. Whenever someone would ask me "what's there to explore over in your hood?" I'd always mention Crowe. Although it wasn't a "dream explore" it was always worth a drop in.

The offices were still standing when I visited, but I do assume they're next to go as well. The windows have been removed and replaced with concrete bricks. The rest of the complex has been completely demolished.

Please use this thread to post your favorite photos from Crowe, as a bit of a memoir to such a well known location.

Wow nice Skye. I always like the idea of seeing abandon/demo/ and after. This would be a great thread to follow

It was always a hometown favorite of mine. A good way to get out of visits with the in-laws. even for a few minutes. So sad to see it go.

Good riddance, the demolition was done at such a slow and sloppy pace that I'm pretty sure the people living near it are happy (at least).

They will be missed.

The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight"
So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house,

Aw I know how it feels.
This one place in SF was set for demolition and we had already went "one last time" but the night before the demo I couldn't sleep.
Got in my car and drove over there by myself.
It was in a terrible part of town but it was 4am so I figured all the thugs/crackheads were asleep.

I went inside and cried my eyes out.

So yes, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?
