|  | | | After taking to the rooftops(http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=112249), SeventhStage and I started exploring the local construction sites in this gulf country. This place has a penchant for exotically shaped buildings, including a sand dune, a tree and an homage to falconry.
Our first site was no exception, as it will take the form of a blooming flower.

Although right now it more closely resembles a jungle gym.

After that, we looked at a pair of identical skyscrapers under development.

It was a long climb 55 stories up.

The last site in this set was a collection of 9 skyscrapers that make up a spiral-shaped complex.

Each had a wedge-shaped top to complete the curve.

14. Window hanging cables lined this tower on all sides.

17. A whole lotta cranes.

19. It's growing another one!
20. When we reached the summit, the islamic call to prayer echoed through the neighborhood, and we knew that this the time to conclude. 15 minutes later, hundreds of workers descended for first shift, and we knew that this was a good way to close out the sojourn.
