But I think the reason people were so crazed was because it happened overnight, sort of like an admission of guilt I guess? I mean, if you just woke up tomorrow and heard "they demolished Hudson last night" that would be pretty unsettling right? The same reasoning of not expecting it to last forever applies as well.
