make exploring great again
| | Seeking Sanctuary < on 11/19/2013 3:17 AM >
| | | If you check out the Photography forum, you'll see that UrbexKeith posted "The Calm Before the Storm, 2005," documenting our most recent trip to an abandoned hospital. We are pretty sure we are the first to explore the basement since it was flooded by the storm. It was founded in the 1920's, before finally closing down after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This hospital has a particularly gruesome and touching story involving those trapped within during the storm. See this article: http://www.nbcnews...6700/#.UorQfBww4ng Anyway, this is a compilation of shots I've taken over the last few years from different trips; Thus, there's some pretty hardcore instagram action in here... also because I was really lazy recently... my baddddd.

I was thinking the same! I love the slides and the culture. I use that stuff everyday, so it's neat to see it like that. I'm creeped out by the pictures of naked patients, though. :p

There was also one titled "streakers" which was a picture of a naked man running through an airplane cabin.

We do this in veterinary medicine to see progress/no progress of patients. I would like to think this was the reason for these photos, but maybe not.
