Hi, I"m new to this and I only have a P&S camera with no post editing skill ( read I use auto balance when I post process.. lol )
After some info came about of a place I will call roadTown

I decided to take a quick peek and this is what I found. ( sorry no post processing skills that makes it look bling.. so its all from the camera. )

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6. Need Backup to fully explore this ( or mainly a good sturdy rope and to lose several pounds to fit )

7. Hidden Room ceiling

8. Beaver on the right sleeping. good thing I didn't jump down. ( no way up if I did ) Would've been a bad fight. ( and I probably will lose )

9. Looks like another shaft that went further down.

10.

Thank god I didn't go down then. I"d be torn to shreds.
I seen one around there before at night ( when I went to look first time at night ). So I kept my distance. Good to know there's a family of them to avoid.

Yeah don't worry about I'm in the same boat; no editing skills and a P&S camera, also your pictures are pretty good anyways.

Your camera doesn't give you the skills to create interesting compositions, interesting subject matter, etc. Only you can do that

thanks everyone for the kind words.

I joined another photography website and I got the " get better gear" and the infamous "learn to PS noob !!" ahahahaha.. needless to say I don't bother going there.

I"m kind of a scardy cat when it comes to Urban.. ( I already got one ticket lol )
So most of mine has been in rural areas.

EDIT: Thanks for my first 2 likes

Drifter420, forget about those gear wankers. Use what you have, get what you can afford and only you can tell you when you've out grown your tools. If one day you realize what you are shooting demands a "better" camera, then do so when you need it.

Thanks for sharing.

And don't worry about your photos. I personally prefer them raw or whatever - the "pros" shots tend to be overdone, redundant, & annoying.

Cheers!

Cool. I was kinda wondering what it looks like down there. I wonder if there's a way in from the river. Or maybe it's just for beavers.

The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight"
So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house,
"Hey! What gives you the right?" http://www.flickr.com/photos/evman/

I think its just for Beavers. I haven't really looked hard on the edges of the place. But I can only see little cracks and holes ( not human size ) that might lead to the hidden floor. However that tube would suggest there's possibly even another level under it? ( but that might be underwater since it would be about water level height )

1. Should be ( guessing ) the level of the hidden room
