Welcome! Make the best of what you find in Wisconsin, because there isn't a whole lot!

I like this kind of place. Well done. Welcome!

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

I'm really looking to get to Milwaukee, because most of the interesting in The fox cities are now rubble.

Strangely enough, I was at this exact same location today. The house 2 lots over? Also abandoned, although somewhat more recently.1.

That's too funny! Yes, we did check out the other house as well. It seems it was in such great shape when it was left! Also, your pictures are beautiful, I'm just starting to get into photography.

Yeah, it did look in rather decent shape. A few years back we had planned on going into the larger house with the collapsed garage but the 440th Air National Guard base was still active and a "No Trespassing" sign existed outside. While we might have been willing to ignore either the sign or traffic, the two together were intimidating enough.

Fast forward to today? No traffic, no signs, and the base is no longer active; perfect time to go.

Also, when we were last in the area, that brick house next door was lived in I believe, so it can't have been abandoned for more than a few years.

We've been considering trying the old strip club up the road, right outside the mobile home community, but we haven't gone for it yet.

And thanks for the compliments; I actually have a small side business in photography. Nothing to pay bills with, but enough to make it a zero-sum hobby, haha.

We hit pretty bad traffic when we went but thankfully the grass was tall enough to mostly hid us.

I haven't heard of the old strip club but it sounds very interesting; I'll definitely have to look into it. Maybe we'll see you there

Haha, could be. Luckily it's one strip club a man needn't fear being called a chauvinist, eh? You know, because it's empty.
