Handy I'll be in Green Bay for a while soon. I plan on doing some exploration while in Wisconsin. Want me to contact you if I find anything urbex-y?

Yeah that'd be awesome, where in Green Bay are you going? I'm going there this weekend with family and am hoping to get a chance to explore.

Blah blah blah. Big drainz! Been trying to convince a certain air-cooled beetle to get drain driving up there. I would be so down for another MKE weekend-- it's been way too long.

Mkepex2???

That's kind of what i was getting at. Haha.
And yes!, i need to get to MKE sometime. I'd like to plan a weekend trip full of drains, rooftops and whatever abandonments still exist.

I would love to make a trip with some people to MKE, I've never really thought of exploring rooftops or drains. It is definitely something I would love to do.

If anyone would like to make plans let me know, these next couple of weekends are free for me!

Exploring in Oshkosh this weekend. Another time perhaps. You need to change your handle first though, otherwise i'll just make dirty jokes the entire time.

That sounds like a blast dude, let me know how that goes. And don't worry I'm in the process.

I was probably drunk as hell when I came up with it.

I'll be there visiting family too and on business for a few weeks. It's a win-win.

MKE the airport? What is security like there?

I'm wondering if Madison would have anything that is accessible!

I just moved from the twin cities to madison for school. Don't get your hopes up. Nothing spectacular around here, but there are a couple decent places.

I just moved from MSP to Madison as well. I've been looking around for places and haven't found a lot, but if anyone would be willing to meet up I'd love to get to know the exploring community in the area!

Milwaukee is full of plenty of stuff to explore. Like Stormy mentioned, there arn't a ton of explorers there which means you arn't going to find a ton of stuff all over the internet and may have to do a little more work than googling, showing up, walking in.

With that being said, there are some huge explores to be done in Milwaukee. Solvay isn't worth it, don't waste your time there. Tips, find the industrial areas or parts of the North side. Go drive around the few mile radius of Miller Park and you'll find a gem as well.

This dude knows what he's talking about.

Solvay is pretty much worn out, Pabst has been hipster lofts for a while now, but there is still stuff around.

I'll be in the area in October, incidentally. I'm down for some mischief.

I'm looking forward to getting down there, let me know if you are interested in meeting up sometime. Milwaukee is such an awesome city, I couldn't imagine exploring there!

Franklin actually has a few decent sites...nothing industrial that I've found, but if you're into farms with gobs of rusting equipment left in the fields or mechanics/junk yards and attached homes, there's a few spots I'd recommend.

Oak Creek still has a few industrial lakefront attractions as well, even considering the loss of Peter Cooper. Don't stray too close to the power plant though...we found out the hard way that lugging cameras and skittering from copse to copse doesn't make you appear innocent.

Luckily the cops were understanding.
