That operating thing for the claw finally fell. I hope no one was anywhere near that when it happened. That massive piece of rusted metal could probably fucking kill someone. Now we wait for the rest to faaaalll.

It was probably crazy loud, too! People in the houses across the street were probably thinking, WTF!? Hahaha.

The track it was all hanging from is bent downwards...like, the weight finally pulled it enough to let it sit on the ground below. I'd think that thing would be heavy enough that it'd fall through the floor...but, then again...this is some seriously thick concrete.

Yeah, there is NO WAY that that was quiet, but with as much noise that's around there, it could have very well been completely unnoticed by anyone.

Fatwax, that's a nice photo!

It's actually kind of hard to tell exactly what broke. I am wondering if it rusted off or if someone pulled it off? I have put a lot of weight (I've stood on it) on it before and it never really budged. Makes me happy I haven't stood on it in a couple of years, though.

it seemed pretty solid both times I got to see it. Sad to see it fall off its track but I guess it was bound to happen eventually.

I think I have a picture from the other side. Let me look. But if I remember correctly, it just look like the bar/track it was hanging from bowed down.

#7 is the best exterior I've yet seen of this structure; very well done.

It had to have fallen off the track, considering how super heavy it is.

I agree with Imbroglio, awesome exterior shot!

Thanks, y'all. I was kinda peeved with the sun at that point. Hahaha. But, it worked out because I happen to like how it turned out, too. I really shouldn't get peeved without things look on the camera screen and wait until they're on a more reliable source, such as my computer. Hahaha.

Fatwax, I forgot to look. :/ ...let me make a note on a sticky, and when I get home, I'll dig through this folder.

Meh. I don't. The one I was thinking of from the opposite end is focused on something else and is too far to see anything. :/ Sorry.
