Uhm, is this still there?! Also, I heard a ton of these are still hanging around on staten after the hurricane:

Was at the c.i creek not along & its still there, I think it moved during sandy but its still around. & after sandy there was a ton of boats on the streets here in brooklyn too. A few docks as well. Some in houses, others on the bike path off the belt parkway (huge one)

The Yellow Submarine is still there. It moved a little during Sandy, but not very far. I don't know if there are any road boats left in SI. If they have been removed, I also doubt they were handled with kid gloves. Not like the Graf Spee that landed on the Metro North tracks. At least the MTA had the decency to lift it with a crane and haul it and not just drag it off the tracks with a bulldozer.

| | | Interesting. I find it Ironic that the only viable way of getting to coney Island is by one of these:
And yet they HAD A HURRICAN! I was super worried they might all wash up and I wouldn't be able to get there. Haven't been able to find any pictures confirming my fear yet. On another note, here's some pretty sweet pictures of road or otherwise incapacitated boats:

If you can't find Kings Park and can't find a way into a building, you're in the wrong hobby.

Remember that there is an important distinction between a road boat and a land yacht. This is a land yacht:
This is a road boat:

| | | Plenty of people go alone...... I did ALL the time. The rest of the time, we go in pairs or a small "trained" group..... This isn't Mission Impossible, it's an epic psych asylum that most of us that have been here simply LOVE it.....

| | | I PM'd him this a while back and the only exploring he did was with Google StreetView.
So this is the thanks I get. I tried to be as helpful as I could by PM and he decides to call me names in a public forum.
