Ive been to this location a few times now & I keep finding new spots to check. Its located in Queens, NY right on the long island sound & its called fort totten. It is an active park/base but there are a few sections that are abandoned.

So far, ive been in the waterfront battery where there is at least one tunnel that branches off in two directions and a weedy field next to it with small pipes poking out of the ground (I need to check that out next time).

Theres also an old abandoned army hospital thats crumbling but looks very interesting and an Endicott battery that is begging me to violate it next time I go.

Part of the Endicott Battery, the huge one buried in the bushes stretches into NYPD territory, so extreme caution should be observed here. I.E ninja mode activate. Next time I go there, I hope to get into the Endicott & explore the tunnel that looks like a mausaleum. Everytime I've gone there so far, there's been at least 8" of water in the tunnel at all times. I gotta remember my boots next time I get there. If anyone wants to tag along, pm me and I'll try to get a day off soon & head out there.

There's a tunnel that goes to the Bronx from there.

At least that's what they say on the History Pawn Shop Channel.

I would love to see that if that were a thing.

I remember sneaking into the abandoned hospital there with 9 people in our party. Great times.

Good stuff! My first explore was kinda like this. Just a big shell, but still a lot of fun to go check out.

According to numerous sources that tunnel was never built. At the time it was beyond the technology. I think that tunnel just goes to the next section seeing as how theres nothing but a field with vent pipes next to it. My next day off I'll go back & try to get in there with some waders

nice set. forts that aren't 100% covered in graffiti can be pretty cool

There wasnt much tagging that I could see since its still semi active & nypd is right there. Hopefully, depending on how my wifes foot feels, I may be going back here on saturday. I definitely want to get in the battery & that mystery tunnel. Question is, left or right??

What happened to your wife's foot?

"Are you happy now with all the choices you've made?" "Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed?"
"Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?"

She was paying more attention to a building then to where she was walking & twisted it. This was less than 2 weeks after I got a nail through my foot outside another building in the same complex. Something doesnt want us there lol
